  • 45 min

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Grillville's Peach Bourbon Sauce
  • 12 chicken drumsticks
  • 12 slices bacon
  • Salt and pepper to season chicken

Steps

  • Preheat the barbecue to 350F, taking care to leave one section of the barbecue closed, ideally the one on the side.
  • Using a wooden cutting board and a cleaver, cut off the top of the drumstick so as to detach the skin from the top of the bone. Remove the skin and cut the bottom of the drumstick bone with a cleaver, allowing you to completely remove the skin from the drumstick.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper and roll up with a slice of bacon, taking care to roll tightly. Place in an aluminum tray with the drumstick upside down.
  • Barbecue for 30 minutes or until an internal temperature of 74C is reached. Towards the end of the cooking time, brush a few times to glaze them.
  • Brush one last time and serve immediately!

Tips and tricks

Perfect as an appetizer to share, this recipe can also be made with bacon-wrapped chicken tenders. Simply roll the bacon tightly and cook in a tray to keep the bacon in place.
