- 1 bottle Grillville's Peach Bourbon Sauce
- 2 brioche-style burger buns
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 red onion, thickly sliced
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- A few leaves of arugula lettuce
- Salt and pepper to season chicken
Steps
- Preheat the barbecue to 500F, taking care to leave one section of the barbecue closed, ideally the one on the side.
- Grill the chicken breasts on each side. Once marked, transfer the breasts to the closed section of the grill. Cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 74C is reached.
- Meanwhile, dry-grill the red onion rings until well caramelized.
- Brush the breasts generously with the sauce and close the grill for 2 minutes, then add the slices of Swiss cheese to each one.
- Toast the bread for a few seconds
- To serve, spoon a little sauce over the bread and add the arugula lettuce, chicken breast and red onions, then drizzle with a little more sauce.
Tips and tricks
For a vegetarian burger, you can replace the chicken breast and Swiss cheese with a thick slice of halloumi cheese. Simply grill it on the barbecue and brush it with sauce before assembling your burgers.
